An exceptional event to prolong the spirit of the Barbanau meetings

Following the summer Sardinades and the first Apéro au Château, on December 6 the estate hosted a new experience: a masterclass dedicated to festive food and wine pairings. True to its desire to create unique moments throughout the seasons, Château Barbanau opened the doors of its cellar for an intimate and refined evening.

Hosted by Fabrice Sommier, President of the Union de la Sommellerie Française, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and Personality of the Year 2025 according to La Revue du Vin de France, this event allowed participants to discover how the estate's vintages pair with festive flavors. The wines were enhanced by the culinary creations of Christophe Vuillemin, a private chef in Corsica, who brought his gastronomic expertise to this sensory experience.

In a friendly and intimate atmosphere, surrounded by vats and presses, guests shared a timeless moment, where each pairing told a story of terroir and passion. This masterclass is part of the Barbanau series of events: moments designed to celebrate wine in a different way, in tune with the seasons and encounters.
