Paella Amid the Vineyards: A Summer Culinary Treat at the Barbanau W Château
A great start to the summer season at the Barbanau “ Château ”
Following the success of last year’s sardine feast, the Barbanau “ Château ” kicked off its summer season with a “Paella in the Heart of the Vineyards.”
On May 30, 120 people gathered at the estate to enjoy an outdoor lunch in a stunning setting, surrounded by the vineyards and scenery that give the Barbanau " Château " its charm.
The guests enjoyed a hearty paella prepared on-site by La Terrasse de Cécile, paired with wines from the estate. The meal continued with crème catalane and fresh fruit, in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
Throughout the afternoon, musical entertainment provided by Sarah Jones set the mood for conversations and moments of fellowship, while the Chilean women and the pétanque court made available allowed some to extend the festivities.
In keeping with the estate’s spirit, this event brought together wine lovers, regulars at the “ château ,” and first-time visitors, all united by a shared desire: to enjoy a simple, friendly moment in the heart of the vineyards.
