Cassis 2024: freshness restored to Mediterranean whites

We are delighted to share with you a summarized extract from the article that appeared in "Tellement Soif".

"In a Provence dominated by rosés, the Cassis appellation stands out for its white wines, which account for 77% of its production. The 2024 vintage is characterized by a notable freshness, with moderate alcoholic degrees around 12.5%, low pH and good acidity.

Château Barbanau, located in Roquefort-la-Bédoule, offers the cuvée L'Instant Blanc 2023, a blend of Rolle, Ugni Blanc and Clairette. This biodynamically-certified wine boasts a pale yellow color with green highlights, a lively nose with notes of lemongrass and green apple, and a well-constituted palate with a clean, herbaceous finish."
